At Downtown Church we love celebrating the gift that children are to our families and faith family. On Sunday, October 20th we will have an opportunity for families in the church to participate in our Parent Child Dedication.
Join us for our Women’s Christmas Party on December 7th from 9 to 11 AM at The Steeple! Enjoy a joyful morning filled with creativity, connection, and Christmas cheer as we decorate gingerbread houses together. Bring a breakfast dish to share and come ready to celebrate the season with friends! The cost is $15 per person. We can't wait to see you there!
There is nothing like spreading joy at Christmas to those who need it most. At DTC, this is one of our most special outreach events each year and we would love for you to join us. We will serve a Christmas meal and pass out boxes full of goodies to the residents at local AHEPA housing complexes. Be on the lookout for more information as the date nears.

On Sunday, December 22nd, we will offer a “Family Worship Service” during our usual corporate worship time at 9am. This will be a family-oriented service as we invite the kids to come down front for a reading of the Christmas story.
Join us December 24th at 5:00PM for a Christmas Eve Candle Light Service. This is one of our favorite evenings of the year with our church family! Join us for a candlelight service, hot chocolate, and special photobooths! Some families like to dress up for this service, and some families will be casual. You are welcome in whatever your family feels most comfortable wearing. We will not have childcare and would love for your children to join everyone in family worship.
Join us at the DTC Tent at the Lighting of the Tree in Mardi Gras Park Friday, November 15th from 5:30-9:00 PM! There will be local vendors, food trucks, crafts, inflatables, photo opportunities and much more! The DTC family is truly something special and we love an opportunity to fellowship with our people. On Sunday, September 29th, following the service, we will meet in the South Lounge for a Church-wide Brunch. Bring your favorite brunch dish to share and join us for a sweet time together.
We want to kick off the school year in a special way as a church. We’d love it if you and your family joined us for a night of worship on Sunday, August 11 at The Steeple at 6pm. We’ll spend time centering our hearts, minds, and lives on King Jesus, and we’ll have a little fun in the process. Following the worship service, we’ll have an Ice Cream Sundae Bar to enjoy together. We hope to see you there!
Have you been curious about or interested in joining a Lifegroup? We at Downtown Church believe Lifegroups play a vital role in growing closer with fellow believers through fellowship and the Word. This will be the perfect opportunity to meet our Lifegroup Leaders and find out more information about each group. We will have tables set up in the back after the service with information cards for you to take home. We hope you will join us as we soon kick-off our Fall semester.
What better way to encourage your child to spend time God’s Word, than having a cuddly buddy by their side! Your kids are invited to join us in adopting a Bible Buddy to help them learn to know, love and follow Jesus. They will receive resources to help them along and you will get tools to help make God’s Word the forefront in your home. Have them start thinking of a name for their new sidekick!
Join us each Wednesday as we grow closer in the Word and with each other! It is truly a sweet time spent through worship and prayer, and fellowship. Dinner starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by group bible studies for men, women, students and children at 6:45. Nursery is available. Dinner $7 for adults/$5 for children($25/family of 4 or more). Mark your calendars!
Students that will have completed 6th-12th grade this summer are invited to join us June 7th-10th for SUMMER CAMP!
